- songs will be $1.29 for 256 bit aac
- if you don't care, you can still get the lower quality track for the old price.
- upgrade option for previously purchased music
- album prices still 9.99
- music videos will also be DRM free, and no price increase
These are some very appealing options to spend even more money on EMI music. I know there are some people that will whine about the price, but until they give away there music, some people will be upset about how much it costs. The only complaint I could see with this deal is, I would have to buy each track of an album I bought before this deal for .30 each. I have more than 450 items purchased from the iTunes store, some of this is no longer in the US store. Most likely I will only have the upgrade option on 5-10 tracks; but that is the way it goes.
I will be waiting for this release with great expiation. Also, I wander if other download media offers will be as appealing as apple's is.
