I have been doing a fair amount of computer updates lately. Most of these old systems are all ATA-100 or older HD with the new system being all SATA. The problem being I need to copy all the data over the network. Since most of the world is on windows this means many hours of SMB transfer. Nothing wrong with that; except the old computer may be slow... that is no fun :-(
I have looked around for a boot CD with this in mind; and it seems no such thing is. Looks like I get my first chance at making my own boot disk! I hope that's possible on a mac.
